Records were collected from interviews and research by Maud McLure Kelly. Maud was a descendant of Louisa Catherine Vincent (1837-1898), Lizzie's sister. Some interviews done by Maud were with people who personally knew the person in question or who knew their descendants. Unfortunately, Maud's records have been very difficult to sift through. They became somewhat jumbled after she donated them to Samford University. Thanks to Cousin Caroline, another descendant of Louisa Catherine Vincent, she's been sorting through another copy of Maud's records. Maud's sister Marion also did research and kept a copy of the same research. This copy was inherited by Sarah Bullock. Thanks to Sarah, her descendants, and to Cousin Caroline, we have an excellent readable copy of Maud's research on Elizabeth Emily Vincent.
