- Aaron bought property in Johnston County in an estate sale on 10 Aug. 1782.

- In Record of Estates, Johnston County, North Carolina edited and published by Elizabeth E. Ross, 1988, several records refer to the distribution of his property after his death in 1791.  Following the division of his mother Amelia's estate, Aaron's relationship with his heirs as follows:
"Div. of Est. of Aaron Vinson, dec. among legitimate heirs: Jesse, Polly, Levina, Sally, Charlotte, Payton, Allen, Betsy, & John Vinson."  See Cousin Caroline's page for images.
- Maud Kelly submitted Aaron Vinson as a supplimental ancestral line for her lifetime membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).  His Ancestor # is A118852. wherein he is listed as Aaron "Vincent."
